Mr. Scott has over 30 years of experience including as a team member on the very first large scale mold problem at the Polk County Courthouse. His vast knowledge of architecture and building design and his intimate experience with problems associated with LEED™ buildings has propelled him to become one of the most powerful experts in buildings with LEED™ related mold and moisture failures.
Registered as an architect in four states, he is a regular lecturer on the the subject of why buildings have mold and moisture failures and how the prevention of those failures.. Mr. Scott has had articles published in several industry peer-reviewed periodical and has reviewed hundreds of cases that include failures in building envelope, stucco, roofing, and glazing. He has helped solve some of the most complicated building mold and moisture failures in the world, with clients and projects that include $750MM+ Orlando VA Medical Complex, the DOD and NAVFAC facilities, Hilton, Wyndham and Starwood resorts, Governmental projects like the Polk County and Martin County Courthouse, among others. He has been retained by some of the largest construction law firms both in the United States and overseas, and his expert witness work has assisted his clients in pursuing or defending hundreds of millions of dollars in claims.
